MONTE DEI COCCI Appassimento I.G.P. Puglia 2020

Grape Variety:  Primitivo – Aglianico – Syrah.

Production area: Itria Valley, 450 mt above sea level.

Altitude: 450mt above the sea level.

Soil: Calcareous mixed with red clay.

Vinification: After a late harvest that takes place in the last week of September, follows a soft maceration and fermentation in French oak tanks. Following by the maturation in French oak barriques for 6 months.
The process is completed with bottle aging for 6 months.

Tasting note

Color: Bright, deep red with purple hues.

Bouquet: With hints of candied orange, dried plum, wild berry jam and notes of spices.

Taste: Full-body, warm and slightly sweet.

Food pairings: Wine for meditation or to pair with cookies or almond cakes. Excellent to be eaten cold alone or in pair with chilled chocolate cake or creme caramel dessert.

Serving temperature: 16°- 18°C

Alcohol: 15% Vol.
